Simon Baptiste

Chief Executive Officer

After graduating with a B.Sc. in Communications from the University of Miami in 1995, Simon moved to Los Angeles, California, to pursue an entertainment career. There he spent two years working as an Assistant for John Dukakis & Qadree El-Amin at Southpaw Entertainment, (a firm responsible for the careers of artists like Boyz II Men & Janet Jackson). After this, he relocated to Jamaica to work with Main Street Records on Specialized Media Projects, where he developed a reggae documentary titled “Two Wicked”; in which he captured the lives on film of several major reggae and dancehall artists such as Red Rat, General Degree, Buju Banton & Sean Paul, as they traveled around the globe. Feeling the need to return home to help develop artistic talent in Trinidad and Tobago, he joined forces with Carolyn Pasea in 2001 to successfully build Question Mark Entertainment into one of the top management and booking agencies in the Caribbean. For more than 10 years he has engineered some of the biggest deals within the Caribbean Entertainment Diaspora: from brokering multi-million dollar television production contracts (from the E! Entertainment Network and Bunim-Murray/MTV); to negotiating publishing, licensing, and record deals. Recently, after participating in strategic talks with the Caricom Secretariat, he has focused his energies on forging collaborative ventures with several Caribbean nations, in an effort to help develop their entertainment sectors. Simon Baptiste is seen as one of the top visionaries in his field who continues to provide inspiration through his work.

Carolyn Pasea

Managing Director

After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Carolyn returned to Trinidad after living most of her life in Scotland. She kick-started her career as an intern with Price Waterhouse, before moving on to Lonsdale/Saatchi & Saatchi a year later as an Account Executive. At Lonsdale she was responsible for several major accounts including the West Indian Tobacco Company (WITCO) and Pepsi Caribbean. It was her work at Lonsdale that introduced her to the music industry, as she was charged with the responsibility for staging major musical events in Trinidad and throughout the Caribbean. At that time she also created sponsorship and endorsement deals for some of the biggest names in the industry. In 2001 she would leave Lonsdale and embark on a journey to forge a dream of her own via the set-up of Question Mark Entertainment. Since then she has won multiple awards for her work in music publishing, and created major licensing deals in television, film and gaming software for the Playstation and X-Box gaming consoles. Today Carolyn Pasea is seen as one of the pioneers in her field, a positive female role model, and regarded as an authority in the music industry and other facets of entertainment.

Chris Chowquan

Director of Operations (Global)

Chris joined the Question Mark Entertainment team in 2007. His background is unique among other entertainment executives, having earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University with a specialization in Information Technology. His global focus on creating opportunities in emerging and developed nations helps QME develop its brand and market its clients worldwide. His professional career outside of the entertainment industry includes helping Fortune 500 companies grow and improve their business through the use of technology, with extensive work in the Healthcare and Education industries. Chris is currently the CEO of Healthchat, a healthcare communications company based in Florida.

Jillian Timothy Esq.


Ms. Timothy garnered her expertise in the entertainment industry from her years working as an industry professional at Comedy Central, CBS Cable and MTV Networks (post VIACOM/CBS Merger). She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Columbia University in New York in 1997. In 2001, Ms. Timothy received her Juris Doctorate from Pace University School of Law and was admitted to the New York State Bar in May 2003. She is also a member of the United States District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. In 2004, Ms. Timothy moved to Trinidad and Tobago to pursue the Legal Education Council’s program and was admitted to the Trinidad and Tobago Bar. She worked as an attorney at a prominent law firm where she earned a stellar reputation and brought her international competencies to the local entertainment arena. Jillian returned to New York in 2008 and since then has maintained a working relationship with Question Mark Entertainment handling a diverse range of major entertainment clients and working on the day- to-day business and legal affairs matters that relate to QME’s roster.

Arturo Martinez


Arturo Martinez has actively participated in producing and managing events for over 15 years. Under the tutelage of Relentless President Juan Toro, Arturo has worked with every artist on the agency roster. With an unconventional style of work that begins and ends with a successful event, Arturo attributes his success to his tenacious customer-oriented service and considers today’s technology as a strategic weapon in staying ahead of the competition. Beginning his career as an intern/assistant road manager with the Legendary DJ Team of “The Awesome 2” Teddy Ted & Special K in the early 1990’s, and also as a performance research specialist with ASCAP in New York City. Joining The Relentless Team was the perfect fit. The Relentless Agency’s clientele is dominated by world renown promoters and venues, such as The North Sea Jazz Festival, The Hollywood Bowl, Radio City Music Hall, Madison Square Garden, Luna Park in Argentina, The Montreux Jazz Festival just to name a few. Arturo is also a member and attendee of some of the most prestigious music conferences such as WOMEX, MIDEM, NACA, APAP & LAMC.

Christopher Ng-A-Fook

Operations Manager/Road Management

Christopher Ng-A-Fook joined the ranks of Question Mark Entertainment in 2006 as an Assistant to Management, and has worked his way up to the post of Operations Manager; where he is responsible for overseeing the daily administrative functions of the firm, whilst handling multiple duties that include booking and client requests.
